I was at the Washburn vs Emporia State baseball game yesterday, and Mangino's kid plays for WU.  A local TV station was out shooting some of the game, and the camera man noticed Mangino and started filming him. Mangino starts yellin at the guy "you get that f*&#@#$ camera off of me, this isnt about me, its about the f*&#@#$ kids, turn that camera off right now" He was shouting pretty loud and at WU baseball games it was pretty noticeable. Made a complete jackass out of himself.

p.s the man is almost as wide as he is tall,  its unreal.

A good friend of mine works with a former ku football player from the 1980's who attends all of the ku football gatherings around KC and Lawrence . . . the former ku player thought Mango was tipping the scales another 75 plus clicks year over year.

Of course Mangino being a complete asshole is nothing new . . . his actions around little league events with his kids in Manhattan are the stuff of legend.

Cell phone cameras just don't have enough of a wide angle lens to capture Mangie anyway.

It was one of the Topeka stations, but I don't remember which one. I watched all three this weekend to see local draft coverage.  I'm thinking it was 49 ABC, but I"m not positive.
