How the hell Thomas Clayton went above Cornish is beyond me.
Yeah, I got a good laugh out of that one. WTF?
I knew Cornish probably was not going to get drafted or at least would be late 7th round after he didn't do well at the Shrine Bowl and the combine, but Thomas Clayton? This must be one of those picks based entirely on potential, because Cornish was one hell of a better running back in college. However, we had a better O-line last year than you did so maybe people felt he could be a good back with better surrounding personnel.Also, we don't get much publicity nationally in the first place so I'm sure that hurt Cornish as well. Hopefully Talib gets picked decently high next year so ku can get some positive publicity for the program.
By the way, I had no idea Figurs was 4.3 40 fast, that's insane. He probably would have shredded Anthony Webb last year, as much as I hate to admit it he probably would have been a huge factor against us and the score might have been closer in Lawrence, but we'll never know. I'm glad he's gone this year
