it was a while back late 90's early 00's not sure but first play off the game after the kickoff i believe... lined up at the line the center side snaps the ball saying ''wrong ball wrong ball" (it wasn't the game ball FH wanted to be on O with) and the QB started to walk to the sideline where the coach was holding up a different game ball while the whole offense stood up and acted like it was a timeout or whatever, so the D did the same. as the QB walked towards the HC on the sidelines (and he was about 5-8 yards down field) to get the game ball he then hauled tail to the endzone.
