If Basset's numbers are legit I don't see how he won't be a 3 star.  Better start this year than last.   :hope:

This year Prince gets to capitalize off of the Texas and Oklahoma State wins. Last year his class was mostly full by then.

I watched the highlights of the KSU win over Texas again on youtube, and Prince called a helluva game. You kept nailing Texas with big play after big play. That's a great recruiting tool to show kids.

Who is burris??????link???

Shame on me for indulging your laziness, but here's what I got from about 20 seconds of work at scout.com:

http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=173&p=8&c=1&nid=2941382

Which let me find the rivals link:

http://kansasstate.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=57208

Somehow, there's a 2" difference between scout and rivals.

Thank God for the Texas Bowl being on the NFL network and the fact that nobody cares about ku.

Biggest waste of scholarships in both Kirk & Freeze, just offered them because of their size*.

*- Also note offered and commited early on in 2006 class, At the end Prince knew he made a bad decision in offering.

I really think they are being much more selective and will bring in a much smaller class this year.  The talent on the prospect list looks much higher this year.  Hopefully we can get maybe 3/4 of our top targets.

They are being more selective in their recruiting this year and taking a different approach than last years.  The coaching staff places the importance on doing well with this class very high and they know their jobs (to some extent) likely ride on it.

I really don't think the other classes were that bad at all.  If you cut them down to 25, knocking off about 7 or 8 2 stars off of each one.  No one would be complaining.

Do you notice a high amount of prospects saying "ksu was my first offer" and/or "ksu is pursuing me the hardest"?

I like it.

Yes, and it was like this last year as well with some good talent, but there hadn't been any results like the Texas game, I really think the talent eval they have done early on is very good.
