Enter Carson Coffman.

"I've beaten Josh before, I'm not scared to do it again."

Quote from Carson off of GoPowercat when he commited.

Last Year = Leave Lopina, Webb, Evridge.........all because of Josh.

More competition this year for Josh.

We shouldn't even throw the ball. We just need to recruit another DSproles and call it good.

Sounds like he has a good competitive spirit.

So did Evridge.

But he left when he realized the program didn't have a good competitive spirit for his position.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

The argument on Sproles is that he was the total package.  It kind of defeats the purpose when you need two back to equal what you had.  Although, if I'm hearing you right I think you're looking for these guys...

please, there is no competition at qb for freeman.  lots of good qb's got booted to the curb to pave way for that piece of crap and somebody is shelling out big bucks to papa freeman on the back end for his sons playing time.  you guys bought yourself a 4 year below average offense

enjoy

It was a fluke.  He's got about as much chance of stealing the starting spot as he does of stealing someone's girlfriend.

Freeman could be injured.

That'll be his only chance.

Should he do well, thats about the only time a true QB controversy could come into play.

But he could Schwinn it.

We really need a stud qb.  Hopefully we land one of Blackman/Davis/Stanley.  Who knows, Hartman or Kassanavoid could be good.
