    The very best.
thank you coach tibs!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

sounds like the top rb's had a pretty good day vs that 3-4, one had 7 yards a carry one had nearly 5.  and thats running behind a shatty o-line.

It's difficult to know what to make of that game because of the draft.

Your defense does seem to be really good.

The big surprise for me was that Carson Coffman played very close to Freeman.

The defense is marginal, middle of the pack Big XII.

The reality is this is more about the fact that we have few playmakers on offense, especially at WR and an offensive line that might not be as good as Fort Hays State.

Defense is faster, and more aggressive. No more pussy bend till you break cover 2.  I think they'll get run on quite a bit, but have a lot more turnovers and big plays because of the new scheme, and a lot of college qbs have never dealt with the 3-4.
The D will be very solid this year, due to the fact they'll be able to put 8 in the box and let the secondary be on its own....bc the secondary is loaded with talent.

"Defense is faster, and more aggressive."

same bold talk, different season

"No more pussy bend till you break cover 2."

yeah, cause that is the philosophy behind that scheme

"I think they'll get run on quite a bit,"

thats because, for the most part you front 7 are the pussies.  rutgers showed us that.

"but have a lot more turnovers and big plays because of the new scheme, and a lot of college qbs have never dealt with the 3-4."

the scheme doesn't make plays, players make plays

if the d was solid they wouldn't need 8 in the box.  when you go 8 in the box that means your team is a bunch of pussies that can't stop the run, 8 in the box is a last resort for a scared defensive coordinator.

Wow. Why dont you go ahead and tell Bob Stoops, Mike Stoops, Phil Bennet that. That is exactly how they coached when they were at KSU and had yr in and yr out top 10 defenses. They put thier corners on an island and let them make plays, and let the safeties come up for run support. Get a freakin clue.

KSU's D>>>>>>NU's D in '07. Guarantee it.

It wasn't a hard pick, he was one of the few with actual coordinator experience.

How was Callahan's first year in the big 12? How did the front 7 do against Webb? Almost every team in the big 12, big 10, and sec have 8 in the box unless its a 2nd - long or 3rd - med,long...
or playing texas tech.
