    The very best.
seriously, i believe whitlock.

“It’s possible because this is a great place,” he replied.”Some of the most wonderful people in the world are here. And we’re close enough to be able to recruit.
“We’re close enough to D.C. to get players. We’re close enough to Pittsburgh. We should be able to do a good job in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. We’re close enough.”

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Maybe Huggins had similar thoughts to others....it's easier to recruit in places other than KSU.  Go Cats!!

Arkansas doesn't make any more sense than KSU, then.

Morgantown blows Manhattan out of the water.

News Flash: All Big East towns blow the majority of Big 12 towns out of the water.

What the hell is in Lawrence, Ames, Stillwater etc?  Lincoln, Colombia, Boulder and Norman are much bigger areas.

Makes you appreciate what Hartman did.....speaking of that, how the hell did he have the success that he had?

He had success because there were still a few good players willing to learn how to play a game that required discipline.   That and he was one hell of a coach, both before and during the game.

Can you seriously take anything Huggins says at face value?  Most everything I've heard has been a lie.  And Self doesn't have too hard a time getting a 6-piece of McNugget all American each year, so I don't think it's a location issue.  Granted it might have been more difficult, however, aren't we bringing in the best recruiting class.  It didn't seem like they had that hard of a time recruiting here

why anyone who is a K-State fan would ever listen to anything he says again is beyond me, his actions said it all.  F*CK him.

Seriously, you should just go ahead and change your name to DoucheBag.  You are a complete idiot when it comes to college basketball.  Stick to Brett Favre and the Packers.

All Big East towns blow the majority of the Big 12 towns out of the water?  I guess it's great if you love high crime rates, inner-city trash, lots of traffic, and cold weather.

The Big 12 does just fine recruiting-wise, especially when we're surrounded by Chicago, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, etc.  Huggins is just using a bunch of lame excuses for why he is such a scumbag.  He had everything he could want at K-State, and he left it to coach in the Arkansas (inbred capital) of the East coast.

It's utterly amazing that some people can continue to believe a single word uttered by this sociopath.

Bob Huggins doesn't give a crap about the people of Morgantown, like he didn't give a crap about Manhattan.  The sooner people come to the realization that this pathetic son of a bitch cares about one thing in his life, himself, and we would sell his first born child down he river if it got him ahead the better.

This is the first time he's slit someone's throat and left them for dead.  If the "most wonderful people in the world" in Morgantown believe he won't do it to them as well, God help them.

Dick Sucker (yes you, Mr. Topeka/Wannabe JOCO boy):  So I guess lovely towns such as StL, Chicago nor Dallas have high crime rates?  Maybe if you would get your fag ass out of the state of Kansas and live in one of those cities, you might agree with me.  After having lived in Chicago and KC, I can assure you both those cities have high crime rates and lots of white trash floating around.  The state of Missouri is only one step above Arkansas.

But since you haven't left the sprawling metro cities of Lawrence and Topeka (what a crap hole that place is), my statements are hard for you to wrap your little brain around.

Carry on with the cheap wine....

DoucheBag, you are such a white trash moron.  The references to Chicago, Dallas, etc. were to show that the Big 12 has very good recruiting areas, regardless of dumbasses like you who claim that the Big East is superior.

Again, you are a complete fool.  Your points about the crime rates in Chicago and KC are retarded.  Tell me which Big 12 school is located in KC and Chicago.  I've been out of the state of Kansas plenty of times you dumbsh*t.  I don't need a white trash fool like you to tell me there are high crime rates in those places.  Maybe if you did a little research, you would realize that schools like St. John's, Pitt, Villanova, etc, are located in the middle of big cities.  That was my point.  However, I wouldn't expect a Brett Favre cheese packer like you to understand a damn thing.

I don't give a crap about your statements, to be totally honest.  The whole point of my post was to get you hot and bothered.  Obviously I succeeded...

Well, since Boulder is by far and away the most scenic of the Big 12 cities, I just can't understand why they aren't a basketball powerhouse in the conference.
