Bennett at the Salon
I know everyone kind of knows he's leaving, but my wife overheard him talking at some hair place where his girlfriend was getting nails done.  He said he was excited about going back to Florida and he would be playing ball there (I'm guessing JUCO.)  He said he was upset about not getting enough credit for the blocked shot record and other things.  I kind of agree with him about the blocked shots thing.  He seemed pretty vocal about leaving and being happy about going home.  I think he'll announce it in May.  She won't let me post the good or funny details, and she tried to talk him into staying.  If he changes his mind she would like your credits/praise.  When he leaves it's her fault too.  All in all I'll be sad to see him leave.  He's goofy, he had a rough year, but he could've been like a Longer or someone productive :block:.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

He's a child.

Pretty uncoordinated....and with Sutton, Beasley, Walker, and Hoskins...he's not going to play much next year. Do I like the guy? Yeah, for fan interest maybe...but he's slow underneath and has few skills to score with the ball.

Don't kid yourself, he had tons of potential and it sucks to lose him. He did seem like a pretty big douche, though.

I think Bennett's expectation that he could go to the NBA soon did much more harm than any KSU fan expectations - which really didn't do any harm, of course.

He needs to work on not being so lazy.  I appears very clear that no one really has worked with him on his game ethic (HS especially) - I think he does have great potential but, if he is not willing to do the work, he won't get better.

It was all over the place that he broke the block shot record - I agree, did he want a banner hung in Bram?  He really didn't do anything else so, why would everyone make a big deal out of it?????
