&*$@! that noise.

i'm thankful for the coaches/class he left us.  but it was also the coaches/recruits decision to stay, not huggins.  he would have taken all of them to WVU if possible, and anyone who thinks otherwise is incredibly naive.

i don't think the one year he gave us is enough to make me like him after the way he left.  maybe if he had given us more time/accomplished more and then left, i could still respect him.  but one very short NIT run, and then pretty much &*$@!ing everyone over(including the recruits and to an extent the assistant coaches) before leaving doesn't make me say "Gee, thanks for the good times Huggs, good luck at your new job!"

I'm not loyal to the guy nor do I really like him but I certainly don't have the hate and contempt for him that many seem to have.  Would have liked for him to be our coach longer then he was but we're better off then we would have been had he never coached here.  He got us some attention last year and next year we'll have the talent to keep getting attention.  Even all the negative stuff in the star about Martin in some ways it's better then being totally ignored like we were for years.  We have a no name coach in Martin but if  we have a good year next year and move some in the tournment then suddenly he's not a no name coach anymore.  We had a no name coach for years with Wooly but he could never make anything happen to give himself a name or bring any attention to the pgoram.  Mike Beasley might be the most talented player in college basketball next season people are going to pay attention to what we do for that reason alone.

"You're loyal to a coach that stabbed your team in the back?  I'm not sure the world loyal means what you think it means.  Or, if it does maybe you would better served putting your loyalty with your University."

It wasn't YOUR team, It's Huggin's team and he just gave it to you.....be thankful

What happened?

Over the years, I've learned that you can never say never, but, knowing Huggins and the loyalty he displayed to UC, I think he will be the KSU coach untl he retires or is asked to leave.

The treachery he faced at the hands of Zimmer at UC might have changed his outlook on life, but I don't think so.

He is an honorable man and will remain loyal to KSU.

If not he will be the first to tell you of any change.

loyal, my ass. (<----anger)
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'm just really happy that he's not going to get Patterson or Gates.

Huggins has to be pretty desperate to land some recruits that he feels are his type of guy.  I hope he does.

Although he's still considering Billy Gillispie and the Wildcats, [Patterson] did mention Bob Huggins and West Virginia.

Not recruiting against us?  Huh?  Am I the only one who remembers reading a Dominique Sutton quoteo saying that Huggins called him and said that he could make room for him and Beasley at WVU?

No you're not.  That was &@#%ed up.  I wish more people would look at that.

Nope.  &*$@! that gutless puke.  He betrayed the program, the university, and the ONLY people willing to stick their necks on the line to give him a second chance on life with an opportunity to resurrect his coaching career when no one else would touch him with a ten foot pole.

AND if you don't think even in the aftermath of the ultimate insult against our school he didn't try EVERYTHING in his power to lure the key pieces of the recruiting class and the coaching staff, most notably Dalonte Hill to West Virginia, you're absolutely delusional.  There's a reason for the 350K annual salary, folks.  Put the pieces together.......

Huggins told me everything I needed about him when that f'ing coward was too chicken @#%$ to even look us in the face one last time before slinking off to his drinking buddies at brokeback mountain.  Couldn’t even look us in the face.  Christ, even Roy Williams had that shred of decency.

The image of that pathetic, spineless pile of @#%$ with his head hung low and his eyes on the ground as he shuffled across the tarmac to that prop plane is what I'll remember him by.

The ultimate coward.

We bought into his lies before.  I pity anyone that does it again.
