Great read Chum.  Herian is such an important part to our offense.  Thanks for sharing that.

I just want to know if Herian is as good as the great David Winbush?

Will the crown of the field help him?
Will his number make him look bigger?

Well, I will tell you that Taylor was impressive in our spring game.  Zac Taylor threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns to lead the red squad to a 28-0 halftime advantage for the red team.  I was so impressed Glenn and Lucky as well.  Glenn ran for 98 yards and Marlon Lucky for 84 yards and two touchdowns in the red team's victory as well.  Also our rushing offense was a whole lot better than it was last year.  We'll find out if that trend will continue into the fall.

"Tight end Matt Herian, who hadn't played since breaking his leg in the middle of the 2004 season, had one pass thrown his way. He couldn't reel in the ball in the end zone."

Does anybody know if it was a shltty pass, ie- Taylor sucks?  Or, if Herian just couldn't get his hands of stone to grasp it, ie- Herian sucks?

Yes, I know.  They both suck.

How do you know?  Maybe your rush defense actually sucked so bad that it made your rushing offense look a whole lot better.

Hell, our team averaged like 1.9 yds per carry in conference play, but ran for 248 on 50 attempts in Lincoln.  After seeing how "potent" our rushing attack was, i'm guessing it was more a function of poor defense than improved offensive prowess.

On the other hand, give Schnellahan some credit for knowing how to exploit his own defense based on the example previously set by Coach Snyder.

Since you payed (sic) attention that coach of yours didn't run any swing passes from his own end zone did he?  Cause that's an area where they really need some improvement. :chirp:

    The very best.
Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Who cares if Matt Herian returns?  What would be impressive is if Brook Barringer returned.

Geez, some of you guys are classless.

ALL of us are "classless"... It's just part of being K-State fans.

Not everybody can be the "classiest fans in college football" like Nebraska fans.

Yeah, because I never said anything negative about KSU and yet you're here trashing my team.  Pathetic.

Nobody is forcing you to keep coming back for more, so I'll just keep on "trashing your team" on OUR message board.

Thanks for playing.

Nope what's pathetic is the air of moral superiority that makes up the majority of the Nebraska fanbase.  The condescending applause for the opponents as they leave the field.  The "great class" shown by all the corn fans as they recount tales of poor wretched red-clad martyrs being exposed to the most "classless" acts imaginable when they leave, "the good life" just to watch a football game.

The hubris for you to come to a K-State website and expect us to give a rats-@ss about your starting tight-end.  Yep, it's pathetic all right.
