Kansas State basketball recruit Michael Beasley posted 23 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and three blocks Saturday night to lead the Black team to a 140-117 victory against the Gold in the Adidas Derby Festival Classic in Louisville, Ky.

Another K-State signee, Dominique Sutton, added 19 points. Burlington guard Tyrel Reed, a Kansas signee, scored two points for the Gold. Reed also placed second in the 3-point shooting contest.

I think he meant like in.. shining, happy people.  I think Tyrell was very friendly, and seemed to really help the boys on the other team get their confidence lifted! What a pleasant young man.
