From what I saw tonight the Wildcat players dominated! The problem is,it's the Kansas State Wildcats. Beasley was a man amongst boys.
AJ couldn't do anything with the ball because he was on the same team with the K-State ballhogs Beasley and Sutton. They were only looking for each other the 1'st 3 quarters. AJ actually showed some frustration midway through the 3'rd.Pettigrew was the last one in for the gold team and it was obvious he hasn't been playing with any of the all stars from either squad because they NEVER looked his way. Jordan was clapping his hands and stomping his feet and enjoying every minute of AJ putting the uk emblem on the Cardinal logo.....Don't know if that means anything, but he appeared REALLY close to AJ.Take it easy on the recruits, you really couldn't tell much from the one on one play especially with the K-State hogs. Williams definately looked to me he needed the most time to develop which disappoints me because we could really use immediate help in the paint not another project.
Beasley was outstanding when he played hard. Very scary, he shot 1/2 his 3 pointers left handed & 1/2 right handed during the contest.
Guys, hope Beasley stays with K-State, he is next year's Durant and we don't need him anywhere near our region!
Most of the Kentucky posters are complaining about Beasley and Sutton hogging the ball, but it sounds like BOTH of them were really impressive.
Beasley- best player on the court. Stud
Beasley pissed me off with his lack of interest in the whole thing. Horne and Smith at least tried make their dunks in the contest. He was just walking around like it was a super privaledge to us for him even being there.
sounds like beasley didn't even try to win the 3pt compQuoteBeasley was outstanding when he played hard. Very scary, he shot 1/2 his 3 pointers left handed & 1/2 right handed during the contest.
