With plenty of empty bleachers as backdrop, Kansas University football coach Mark Mangino watches the scoreboard in the waning moments of last year’s spring game. An estimated 5,200 fans attended the scrimmage, a number on which the ku administration would like to improve.

He looks so sad.

He's not eating at the moment so I would agree.

Does the "towel boy" have to tie Mangino's shoes for him, too?

GOLDbRICKGANGbOSS was not in attendance at that game.

He did cover somehow the spring game a week before.  Apparently, his excuse was to do surveillance on Reesing.

After 6 or 7 years of making fun of him myself, I am now more on the saddened by his physique.  I almost feel bad for him, oh well, wait 'till next fall when he is being his fat obnoxious self again.

I bet the ku Ath. Dep. has to special order the gear he wears, I mean who else on the staff is wearing the Jumbo sized sewn beachtowel sweatshirt.  Disgusting!!!!   On another note, this board needs a really fat Mangino  emoticon.

Sounds like the squawks got 8K for their spring game this year.   A Sunday afternoon and decent weather and they still can't even sniff 10K fans for a spring game.

ku is better?

2005 7-5 won a bowl
2006 6-6 got passed over for being bowl eligible

Never won more than three conference games in a season under fatass.

ku fans and football aren't a good combo.
