Season tickets are good business move for him.  A business that also gives him insight into a ton of info in the Manhattan/K-State area.  Yeah, the rape thing (though still unrefuted by you guys because there has never been a link posted) wasn't his best moment.   :shy:

I laud both CPA and Hoax.  When it comes to dropping names, those two by far and away lead the pack.

How does one 'refute' that?

This should be gold.

I actually have a great source - about as good as one can get, really.  The reason you'll never hear me talk about that kind of that crap on an anonymous message board, though, is because it is really &@#%ing lame.  JMO.

You can't if you don't have a link.

When it comes to dropping names . . .

I don't drop names.  My primary source is a no-name in general, but certainly has the ear of the administration and isn't afraid to be critical of that little piece of Nirvana you guys have going there in Manhattan.

Arguing with me on Phog, saying that a player transferring in to a school district and one not actually living there are the same thing.

what a buffoon!

http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=172&F=2481#S=172&F=2481&T=387734

It's not the same thing.  Why make an issue of it?  It's not that it's not important, but it is clearly different.

Frank Martin broke the rules.  Live with it.  It was high school - many years ago.

The denial is what is making K-State look bad.  Please stop.  You are making the state and the conference look bad.  Own up to it, and let it pass.

It isn't just K-State fans.  We Jayhawks do it, too.

And a little solidarity won't hurt anything.

That were extended by the NCAA.  Christ, can't someone just put all this into one entry.  All this finishing of each other's sentences is starting to make someone else look bad.

I came out nice, I can come out not.

The hiring of Martin is an embarrasment to all D1 schools.  His employment was a knee-jerk reaction by an administration incapable of maintaining any semblance of respectability at a university begging to retain a fragment of the local support it garnered after the unfulfilled promises of a questionable hire.  *** Shall I continue???

No, steve dave -- if we were left to facts, we'd have nothing to say...except that K-State has yet win an NCAA championship.

As stated by "roohawk"......"an administration incapable of maintaining any semblance of respectability"

For god's sake your school led by such a steller adminstration was mired in a NCAA investigation concerning both Mens Basketball and Football this time last year. How can you even begin to throw a stone at KSU?

You have got to come up with something better than that.

You are absolutely right, Bejiing. I am just having fun here with an administration that doesn't seem to want to acknowledge any past wrongdoing.  We have all got our blemishes and stones.

We Jayhawks are guilty of not acting perfectly, too.

And for the record, I wish Frank and his crew all the best.  Those infractions were minor in my opinon.

Is "Hox" the first?

I thought he liked us  :crybaby:

"Us" must be defined.  If it is everyone here except Dax, then yes.  The rest of you have a healthy form of unhealthy fanaticism that is usually pretty hilarious.  I used to get drawn into Dax's form of . . . well . . . whateverthehell it is that drives him.  Trying to lighten up a little while still engaging in some conversation about 18-22 year old kids playing sports.

I'm still not sure Dax isn't Keitzman new wife.

Holy $hit that sucked.

Sad . . .

Not important, but unofficially, stEve Dave may or may not have told me that he was planning on introducing a HAMbooger-boy type that was willing to commit to if Bob Huggins would tootle off eastward.

I have no idea what this means?  May be grammar or may be spelling.  I know you have humor in you.  :-[  ......roohawk, you get a  :yuck: for not making sense.  That brings your cumultive grade down to a  :-X.  That is basically a C-.  You are trying hard by the looks of things.  You have done better and I can still see you raising your semester grade to a  :P or B- if you compose yourself.  The key is to not get yourself so emotionally involved.  Now, go get em' tiger.

re-read the thread on Phog roohawk.  I did own up to it.    DrJ was the moron insisting there was no difference and that all of the Miami High players were illegal.

See my post?  I even admitted it is very similar to the Mangino affair.   Both coaches should have or possibly did know what was happening under their watch.  But neither was a direct player.
