LOL. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Hatter called out a recruit on GP for some comments the recruit allegedly made about KSU, OU, and NU.  The recruit responded.

My subscription expired before I could see the response.  His initial post was pretty assclownish, though.

Calling out recruits on message boards is bush league.

#1:  They're 17/18 years old and making one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
#2:  Coaches and recruiters are often jerking them around somewhat, as they try to figure out who they need where.
#3:  Recruiting reporters, especially in Oklahoma, are often less than professional and try to influence the recruiting themselves to help out their team.
#4:  Family members often have no idea what's going on, or try to push their own agenda.
#5:  Even when you have a good reporter, who knows what the source actually knows or doesn't know.

I love recruiting news, but calling out a recruit on the internet is crap.

The recruit said that KSU actually was his favorite, and that the other rivals sites embellished some stuff ... shocking.

Manhatter was pissed that this kid was considering OU and NU, and said we should pull our offer. He used harsh words which were unnecessary IMO.  Recruit called him out on it, and offered to meet him at the spring game.  Manhatter was not to be seen afterwards.

Hatter may have screwed up there, but he adds more to the gp.com board than 90% of the posters there/here combined.

He adds speculative homer garbage of which most is a product of his imagination.  Personally, I can do without it.

I met dbaron from the CU board in Boulder in '04 because he was looking for Hatter at the Harvest House hotel.  Claimed Hatter and he were supposed to meet.  Of course, Hatter no-showed.

Recruit calls out Hatter and wants to meet him but he disappears?

Shocking...!!!

Supposedly, someone exposed Hatter as a fraud. He as often said that he played football at Tulsa, but someone proved that he didn't. :bs:

I think he brings a lot of good info to the board, but he seems to be on the constant prowl for a fight. I started taking note of his post times. He  posts at all hours of the day and night regardless of the day. Once he posted like twenty something times in one day. And I'm talking LONG posts. Makes me wonder...hmmm...

He admitted on the phog gridiron board that he's never played football at the collegiate level. He said it was a 'joke' that kept growing and that he has never said that he did play at Tulsa.

His spin after being exposed was quite something.
