We had the worst offense line in the Big 12 last year, even worse than ISU's. I feel with just the Juco's that we have coming in it should allow for an improvement along the tackles. We should have much better pass protection, while the run blocking will still be scary. Do you agree?

LOL, the run blocking was much improved over 2005.  That doesn't say THAT much but the run blocking wasn't THAT bad last year.

People need to forget the 250-plus yard rushing type games Snyder would put on the field.  Our running game can be just as effective w/ smaller rushing totals.

To gauge our running game look at the yards per carry for our RB's...that is the way you gauge our running game.  It's a new pro-style offense which does not include the QB.

yards per carry in 2006 = 4.0
yards per carry in Big 12 play only in 2005 = 2.6
yards per carry in Big 12 play only in 2006 = 4.0

fyi, Patton averaged over 6 yards per carry in Big 12 play.

In how many starts???  If we'd have booted Clayton off the team before the season even started, that number would've been higher.

I've been at the open practices and the O-Line needs some more imporvement.  Bedore will be a beast up front, easily the most improved; he just needs his guards to get better.  Alesana Alesana is an excellent blocker with footwork to die for; he's going to be good.  Otherwise, not too many bright spots; I'm just hoping for Eldridge Sims and Ben Liu to be as good as Alesana then we'll be set.  In any case, it will be improved over last year as it can't not be.

I think the o-line will be fine.  Finally building some depth in there and finally not relying on a bunch of freshman and newcomers to play big roles.  The only spot that is set in stone is Bedore at center. The others are still up for grabs but I don't think it's that important who starts the key will be developing a solid rotation of multitple guys that are ready to play.
Bedore, Robinson, Handy, Rooker, Alesana, Stringer, Unruh, and Meyer that is 8 guys that are ready to play most of whom can play multiple positions with the potential of the two JC guys in the fall adding to the rotation.

Hopefully we can have some guys step up like Wafford did.

Its a nice sign to have bedore "solidify" center...

And they'll look good if freeman has some time to throw, because it turns out he's kinda good...
