A Jayhawk here - but also a lifelong Kansan who feels your pain. Most Jayhawks I talked to today were PO'd about how the whole thing went down and really feel for KSU.  As always, there will always be a few jerks who get all the attention acting like a@@holes about the whole deal - but for the most part - we think this sucks...

What does the board feel about the Southern Illinois coach? That was an amazing team we played in the NCAA's. Think what kind of a team he could put out there if he could recruit depth like he could at K-State....

just a thought...

No, not that he would come but I'd question his ability to recruit to the big 12.

He just signed a big fat extension at SIU.  He wouldn't give us the time of day, honestly.

I don't know what "MEH." means...

Oh come on! This is Southern Illinois we are talking about! I know you people are taking a beating right now - but the K-State job is better than ANY MVC job - AND YOU KNOW IT!

Montgomery had some fine teams at Stanford - wonder why he hasn't done much in coaching since then - hmmmm?

Majerus is a heart-attack waiting to happen.

I'd take a hard, long look at Hensen - I know he's young - but he's learned from several  good coaches...Remember Roy Williams' head-coaching experience before us was as a high-school coach -

I just hate to see you guys sell yourselves out to one of Huggin's assistants just to get a year out of a couple of kids. Bring someone in who wants to build the program. A top recruiter - X's and O's are secondary.
