According to Jack Harry on tonight's news.  First I'd heard of this.

If he wants to play it'll have to be D1AA.

5 qb's was too many.  if i figured any of them to be the odd man out, it would have been him.  especially under the new system.  good luck to webb, see yah.

I'm not surprised.

I thought Webb would compete well against other competition, but apparently, only Snyder really believed in him.  In fact, a lot of people did before he signed with Indiana, and many on the team thought he was better than Roberson.. then the two losing seasons.

He'll have to play for a Div 1-AA or Div II team.   He couldn't play for another D-1A.

    The very best.
too bad. I actually believed in him.

damn.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

He was never going to be the #1 with all that competition.  It seemed like he folded when there was real pressure on him.

So the rank is now:

1. Meier (100% healthy)
2. Everidge (assuming improvement)
3. Meier at 70-90%
4. Lopina
5. Text Message
6. Meier running the option

See what happens when you bring Bob Huggins to town?  Two arrests already.

Shame, shame!

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
Both Meier and Evridge are far better than Webb.

You should be hoping that he really was gone because your opponents are glad he's still there.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

what do you guys make of the fact that lopina was taking the most snaps in practice?  i dont think webb has a chance to start after he disappeared for a couple of days.  also ive had class with him and he is a dumba$$ but most of the football players are.

Seriously....  Vince Young- complete idiot!  Chad May- dumb as bricks!  Michael Bishop- Stoopid!  Jason White- Retarded, redneck Okie!

They were all terrific college QBs.  Considering how many times K-State got stupid delay of game or false start penalties (my favorites: delay of game after a TO or first drive of a possesion!), I think that how "smart" a QB will be in Prince's system (which by deductive reasoning HAS to be less QB pre-snap decision intense) is impossible to determine at this time.

That said, Lopina getting snaps on Friday and Saturday must meen that Prince doesn't care about letting people know Lopina is getting most of the snaps.  Now maybe I'm still in Snyder cloak and dagger mode but that seems to me to be a factor worth considering.
