It was a breakdown of what transpired for about week before the hiring till midnight of hiring.

Some points

Hugs was blownaway & impressed with Wefald because he flew out to meet him and offered to host recruits whoever they are. Hugs didn't get that kind of support in Cincy .

Weiser only had Hugs in his sights. Mcdermot was a backup plan.

Hugs talked to his prime recruits before the midnight deadline set by Weiser. I am guessing he asked them if they would come out here to PARTY.

Bob Sundvold is a dirty bastard who tried to convince HUGS in phone call to wait for the Pitt job because like all MU fans , they are &@#%ing scared of the TRUE POWER now in the conference .

after reading this i hope Huggs doesn't think he can run over our admin TOO much.

i also hope though that Huggs appreciates this freedom he has and stays around for a long time.

I don't. Isn't Huggins Phi Beta Kappa and didn't he graduate with like a 3.9? He's a bright guy and he's seen mediocre and poor support from administrations elsewhere so he's bound to be impressed with a bright guy in the KSU administration who's also fully on board with the athletic programs.
