If they couldn't make it this year, I don't think they can ever make it.  We're certainly not talking national championship, ever.

    The very best.
1st year: 3 MC AA's
2nd year:2 MC AA's
3rd year: 2 MC AA's
4th year: 4 MC AA's

0 final 4's.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

They lack a superstar.

isnt that what should make them a truly dangerous team?  they dont have that one guy to key on.  does UNC or florida have a superstar?  bill selfs crapty coaching is going to keep ku from winning a title until they get that true superstar in the same way that mack brown will never win another title unless he gets another once in a lifetime type of player like vince young.

if bill self recruited for them, and bob huggins coached them, they'd have won the NC this year.

They are missing senior leadership/talent.  Problem is that their seniors next year aren't that good.  If they return everyone next year there is no way they shouldn't be an absolute lock for the FF.  I thought they were this year but UCLA was legit.

5th year: 5 MC AA's - if they all come back, with the addition of that giant goofball from Minnesota.  If you have an entire lineup of MC AA's, is there ANY excuse he could make for not getting to the Final Four?

No, your forgetting that ku plays in the ncaa (every year).  KSU plays in the nit (occasionally)

i'm pretty sure every year, k-state plays in the ncaa, so does the D2 college down the street from me.  the worst team in college plays in the ncaa every year, if you are referring to the NCAA tournament, then you are correct; however, I did say next year, and k-state being a bubble team and having next year's top recruiting class, you would have to agree they will be a very strong team next year

Still too many goofy white guys.

You have to have that one star player that guys can rally around when the going gets tough and who can play through double teams and still get points.

I was speaking of the ncaa tourn.  I am one ku fan that hopes KSU does get better in BB.  However,  with some of the comments I have read
on this board, makes me think some of you dont know BB.    I have been lurking on this board since the second ku/KSU game not saying nothing.  I have read some posters say KSU will be NAtl Champs.  in 2008.  Yea right.  Granted Beasley is going to be a talent but do you think he will be better than Durant?  Take out Durant this year and Beasley next year.  Is your team as good as Texas.  No.  I have recently read where some posters think KSU will be a preseason top 10.  NOPE.  I guess you think that Beasley will be able to move right in and adjust to the college game because we know that college bb and HS bb are exactly the same.

Good luck with your dreams :beerchug:

funny we weren't talking to you

anyways, you don't agree we'll be better with two of the top forwards coming in so we can finally have an inside game.  And I know you think evans is good or you wouldn't have posted all the crap about him when he committed to us.  (when I say you, I mean the ku fans)

I wouldn't be so quick to say our Beaselyless team (next year) would be worse than UTs Durantless team (this year).  Walker, Sutton and Evans are about as good of an incoming group as James, Mason and Augustine were coming in.  Plus we'll have three experienced SRs, one was returning all conference.  ...and Walker will effectively be a soph. by the time conference season starts.

The rest of your arguement is valid, although I'm not sure I've seen anyone serious predict preseason top 10 or national championships for K-State next year.

crying out loud, that's just stupid.  drop the powertard iq.

pittman/mason is comparable to that group, but james and augustin are heads and shoulders better recruits.

who the @#%@ wouldn't trade pullen for augustin?  and i'd trade any of the others for damion james.  a true freshman pf that can put up 7/7 would fit very nicely on our roster next year.

Well, of course they're different players.  I'm assuming your assertion that UT Durant-less is better than 08-09 KSU Beasley-less was based on recruiting rankings.

If you aren't, then you can't say with any degree of certainty that Sutton or Pullen or Tyree can't be better than Augustin or James.

rusty - i never said that a durantless ut squad is better than 08-09 ksu.  matter of fact, i never even compared the two teams.  are you daft?

i rejected yosh's dumbass opinion that "Walker, Sutton and Evans are about as good of an incoming group as James, Mason and Augustine were coming in."

do you agree or disagree with yosh's dumbass opinion?

Well, Walker, Sutton, and Evans were all top 100 RSCI (Mason was not), and Walker is the highest ranked player of the group, so I think the only "dumbass" opinions being thrown around are the ones that involve definites regarding players that haven't seen a D1 court.

ughh...please, please try to keep up.

first - yosh didn't say crap about walker.

second - evans was #72 in 2005, and sutton was #80 in the last round of rsci.

third - james was #15 and augustin was #29 in the final '06 rankings.

now, i don't know where the f__u_c__k you learned math, but at ksu those rankings put james/augustin well ahead of evans/sutton.  this fully qualifies you as having dumbass opinions in line with yosh, but infinitely worse reading comprehension.

happy kwanzaa mother&@#%er.
