How much talent does Bill Self need to go all the way???  As BMW, Coolhawks, I'll be dead (Ray) and others continually remind us, this team had 6 or more NBA players on it -- and was full of McD's AAs.

33 wins and an elite 8. i think they gave you enough. actually, you dont even deserve a team that makes the tournament.

Officiating

I hate to say this. Haven't complained about officiating for 3 years, but they just took this game away from ku. From the no calls on the hips and knees by the UCLA guys cutting off the drive, to the over the back rebounds and down right viscious fouls by them to the ridiculous sequence where ku virtually had to mug the UCLA players to get fouls in the end...I'm just stupified.

Ridiculous coachig

out of control.No counter moves.Silly substitution patterns.Twice,three times the talent of any other team in the tournament,more talent than has ever been assembled here and the Final 8? We were lucky to beat SIU.I am afraid we have been exposed.Downhill from here,my brothers.

ku fans should get used to it Bill Self is what he is.  He's a great guy and a great recruiter and a fairly good coach.  But when he gets up against the really great coaches like a Howland he's going to get out coached.  They're going to have to beat those teams on talent.  They had more talent then UCLA but apparently not enough to overcome some of the other stuff.

This thread is for those who wish to voice their concerns about the staff and make conjecture about Bill future with the University. I seriously think if Rush and DA leave, we will be heading into a downturn for the program, that will not be immediately correctable. Really hope Bill can pull a rabbit out of the hat again.

Stop kidding yourself. Teams play worse when there's noise, when people are cheering against them. What happened the last time ku played a team who filled the lane, got away with any and all defensive contact, and had the crowd behind them? They lost. It was in Lubbock. It's hard to win in those conditions.

If your point in coming on this board this evening is to criticize coaching or effort, you are welcome to leave.  Those comments aren't needed for a couple of reasons. 1.)  Your team isn't likely in the tourney anymore.(or never was to begin with) 2.)  Asinine comments on a message board at 830 on a saturday night reveal how cool you actually are.  Good season Jayhawks!!!
