I'm not saying that Cincinnati is directly on the east coast, but it is that group that is considered to be an east coast team. It plays many east coast teams and it is in the big east. I understand that Cincinnati is in the midwest but it is close to the east coast, and it must be somewhere in proximity to the east coast if the Big "East" invited and accepted them into their conference. Kinda like UNLV, I know they are not located directly on the West coast, but I would consider them a west coast team because of their Location. Anways.. My whole point was, Oj mayo and bill walker are from the "East coast region" and getting them to come to Kansas would not be easy. If you look at what schools they are considering; Cincinnati, UConn, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, North Carolina, Syracuse, and West virginia. With the exceptions of Kansas State, and Arizona. Because they will both (maybe not walker) probably only play one year of college basketball, they might want to stay close to home and not want to travel to K state. I really think in the end though, it will come down to KSU and Cincinnati, but with Cronin being selected as the new coach, UC may have the advantage because he is a very good coach and recruiter. Plus Cincinnati is basically OJ and Bill's hometown.
