We always play like crap against Tech.  Even DoD has issues and couldn't ever blow them away:

1996: W 21-14
1997: W 13-2 (good lord that game was boring, and we really should have lost.)
2000: W 28-23
2001: L  19-38
2004: L  25-35
2005: L  20-59
Game in '97 may have been saved with Bishop tackling the guy about to score? Beasley off the bench for bullpen win. '01 was Marc Dunn for injured Ell. '04 was Meier getting injuured again. '05 showed what jerk Leach is.

wow. 2001 tech, that game was hard to listen to. we were still in DoD mode and were getting blitzed by a mediocre team.

That game pretty much showed Dunn sucked ass.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

That, and Tech had the ball on the one late in the 4th quarter and the tech RB fumbled and we recovered.  Then Beasley came in and drove right down the field for a TD.  Tech was probably deflated after that fumble and gave up.  We should have lost 9-6.  I think that game and the Aloha bowl are the two worst games I have ever seen.

I remember being so excited about dunn, especially when roberson was so bad at throwing.

funny thing is tech was a 5-3 team in the big 12 that year. For all the b1tching in this thread about that game, can you imagine KSU beating a 5-3 big 12 team on the road today?

Today...no...but we did it last year, so who the F knows what to expect.  I guess it's the 2-6 teams we need to worry about playing on the road.

Brandon Clark! there is some name dropping.

That guy could catch but ran with lead shoes.

Clark was actually pretty damn fast for as tall as he was.  Pretty sure he won the 5A 100 meters at Valley Center.  His problem at KSU was he always had some nagging injury, seemingly at all times.

I bet we'll get 2 more. I mean that seven game L streak is just too hard to believe.

Excellent stuff waks.

BTW, how do you pronounce "waks"?

I was under the impression of saying it like "walks" but minus the 'l'.
