In the Wildcats’ locker room, there is an electronic countdown clock. Freeman said that after each game it lists the upcoming opponent and how much time remaining until kickoff. But this summer, during workouts, the opponent listed was always ku and the time remaining was “168 days or whatever it was.”

should see lots of bold and daringness on Sat.

    Hey, basketball!!!
Prince knows that if he beats ku in Lawrence that his job is safe for atleast another year.

He is going to try to get the team as amped as possible.

Partially this: :ksu:

And this: :blindfold:

he can get this team as amped as possible, but he doesn't have the team to beat ku.

jake sharp is going to murder us.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

This is going to be great.  Ronjim has known for an entire year how important this game is to saving is ass, and we are going to go out and get smoked.  Then follow up with ass kickings against MU and NU, 0-9 against the big 3....you can close the books on the Ronjim experiment.

This is why I think it will be such an interesting game.

obviously they have put much larger importance on this game than others whether they will admit it (which i think they kind of did in the article) or not.

This will be a great barometer of whether or not rp can game plan to beat mango or not.

also will prove/disprove whether or not rp did the same thing for the tx game the last 2 years.

I mean, what if we come out and smoke them?

I agree.  I think this is the game Prince chose as the "big one" for this year.  It will be interesting to see how we come out for this one.  Prince has to know this is one game he could really use to turn a few fans back in his favor.  I'd say he's got to be gunning for this one and Nebraska.  If he can manage those two, folks will be jumping back on the bandwagon in droves.

I want us to win, but if we do, I will not be back on the Prawn Rinse bandwagon.  Rather, I will remind everyone that a broken clock is still right twice a day.

Oh, god, if we beat ku and nu especially convincingly they'll probably extend him again on the spot.

BTW, Prince is 0-6 against ku, MU, and Nebraska going into his third year. It'll be 0-9 after this year.

no reason not to beat NU this year and other than nu last year, you can make lots of excuses as why we lost the other games rivals or not.

I'll give Prince credit, he's trying like hell to make this game a "big" game....this year it's "we've got the game circled", how this "defines legacies"....so that in the off chance he wins it, the tards will give him another year.

After this game, Ron is going to announce that Jake Sharp is probably the finest back he has ever seen.  And despite the handicap which is homosexuality, lil' Todd Reisling will throw for approx. 400 yards.  In the first half.  Oh, and we will start Brandon Harold at RB, a dude from the marching band at SS, and a former physics professor at LT.  (He's 5'9", 165lbs; but he's fast and wiry.) furthur showcasing Prince's slight mental retardation.

I just got an email from someone claiming to be Ron Prince, asking me to suit up for the game.  I thought it was a joke, but after reading this post ... I wonder ...
