It's not moot.
But you made me think of something else. It's Mangino's ultimatum year, and Lew Perkins moves a key game out of Lawrence to KC and invites 35,000 MU fans to attend. Hmmm . . .
I'm confused on the amount of tickets that Mizzou got. I was under the impression that ku got well over the majority of the tickets. Not just a little over half..
That guy dosent know what he is talking about. Mizzou only got 20,000 tickets to give to their fans. Assume that half of the 15,000 Chiefs fans will be rooting for Mizzou and their will be around 27,500 Mizzou fans, the rest Jayhawks. With the closed in stadium and about the same number of ku fans that would of been in Memorial Stadium, we will actually be significantly louder than we would of been in Lawrence, where there is a huge track between the fans and the game.
Any of you clowns ever watch college football besides the team you support. Schools play on neutral fields almost weekly, quit acting like this is some crazy idea that somebody just came up with. The greatest rivalry in college football perhaps, Alabama/Auburn was played in Birmingham for over 50 years. If you guys have a problem with a neurtral field than college football isnt for you. Go check out your local middle school or something.
Also, if we want to win the north division we shouldnt mind playing any of our north division rivals on a field where we will have 2/3 of the fans in attendance. Championship teams win anywhere. home, road, or neutral dosent matter. So quit whining and have faith in your undefeated team.
