I disagree. It was the loudest I've heard it in awhile, but why only 10-11K?
I know what all the excuses will be, so lets not re-hash them again.
I do have a legitamet(sp?) question though:
I have been to just a handfull of D-1 basketball arenas, so I don't have much first hand knowledge, but doesn't Bramlege seem way to "friendly"?
I mean we have no destinct home court advantage. The first row of fans is like 10 feet from the floor on the sides, and on the ends, you could hold a small concert in the space underneath the tunnel. And speaking of the tunnel, have you noticed that the visitors are always shooting their free throws in the second half toward it? They CAN'T be bothered by the crowd behind the glass. Is it just me or are the aisles at the Bram like 10 feet wide? Why? Is this the most ADA accessable building in the world, or what?
Why can't the Administration just admit that "ok, we screwed up" and bulldoze the place and move back to the 'ole Barn. Sink a few million in it and lets get back to old school Wildcat basketball. We got the coach for it.
Just my .02
