•Senior defensive tackle Quintin Echols is doubtful for the Texas Bowl because of an undisclosed injury that he sustained in practice. Senior wide receiver Jermaine Moreira won’t play because of injury.

•Junior free safety Marcus Watts and Prince aren’t on the same page about the chances of him playing. Watts, who suffered a hand injury and needed surgery after he blocked a punt Oct. 7 against Oklahoma State and missed the rest of the season, said he’s ready to go. “I’m (medically) cleared,” he said.

Prince, though, said: “He’s been practicing. He hasn’t been as full speed as we might have liked. The medical people will decide if he’s going to play or not, not Marcus.”

I know. They would've lost their game against louisville if the refs hadn't given UL a time out on that last kick. He missed it, then after the time out hit it. Plus they gave up a lot of return yards in that game. I'd say their defense did more than the special teams.
