Numerous turnovers? A couple quick scores & get ahead early because nu is not a great come from behind team. Ball control? I dunno I go over this game in my mind and do not find a lot of positives. Opinions please. :kstatriot:

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

One thing I am confident of, we will have a better effort than last week. The mizzou game still boggles my mind, not taking anything away from mu but we played like crap in that game. The worst thing that could happen would be for nu to get up by 14+ early like the ou game. If that happens we are in deep dodo.

Not sure we need 8 to's to win but 3 in the right time could be huge. We do need some good things to happen though, no doubt.

I don't mean to be stupid
I will be there EMAWin'g my ass off.  I go with a Husker fan and sit in Husker land usually with no EMAW within shouting distance.  I wear all purple.  In order not to ruin my game experience or get punched in the face, I stay pretty low key.  I still cheer and say frack you, if they don't like it.  I also like to say things to Husker fans like the following:

"Man, I bet you guys are sure glad you got rid of Callahan and got that drunk guy to coach your team, what is his name again?"

"someone told me he spits on his players, is that true".

"after Osborne was coach and let his guys use roids and throw chicks down stairs and still play, you had a pretty good coach that you fired for losing 3 games one year thinking you could do better, what was his name again?

"did that fat d lineman guy, really get drunk and run over 3 people, did he get suspended?"

and my favorite, "this is a pretty cool stadium, why isn't it very loud in here?"

My strategy is always to end an insult with a question, that way their little Husker brains don't realize they are being made fun of, works every time.   :steadymobbin': :kstatriot: :steadymobbin':

Its not one thing.  Certainly have to play much better than last week.

If I had to pick a few things it would be a) be +2 or better in TO ratio b) run for around 4.0 yards per carry c) score/set up at least 2 scores through special teams.

Staying calm . . . they'll make some plays, just don't get rattled.

8 turnovers.

No, Iowa State needed 8 turnovers.  We only need 7.

If we can run the ball and they can't, we win. No other stats will matter outside of the turnover battle.
