Goldy go somewhere else, seriously.  I have never started a bickering contest with another poster on this board but maybe you don't get it: THIS IS A KSU BOARD.  If you want to talk KSU that is fine, but what kind of reaction do you expect when you try to tell people on this board ku is improving every year.  First of all they don't want to read about that sh1t because they are on a KSU board, and second, you continue to talk of their improvement when their team is obviously worse than last years.  The O is slightly better because of a more experienced OL but no QB=no points.  The D is way worse.  Just stop.

The first word in this thread is 'ku'.

So although its a ksu board, this thread is about ku. So what kind of reaction do you expect when talking about ku?
you answered one of three threads calling you out. hm...

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED

and Kansas State, Missouri, Colorado, TAMU, Iowa State, Baylor and Oklahoma State.
Spoken like a true homer.
Man you should talk. Seriously, I'm the homer?? I don't travel over to other teams boards. You live on other teams boards. Wow. That just baffled me.

You evidently don't know the meaning of the word 'homer.'
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Don't let Goldy get to you.  He's harmless.

If he knew anything about football, he just might have something worthwhile to post.  But, because he doesn't, he just wants attention.

You'd be so bored without me around.

My point was that you definitely shouldn't be calling anybody a homer. I think everybody here probably agrees that you are one of the biggest homers on this board.

Goldy will attempt to run smack and argue about everything.

Bottomline ... we've been ripping attendance on this board at KSU .... squawks were saying they may have 48,000 ... instead, the worst crowd of the season, and down over 4,000 game over game.

ku has 85,000 alumni in the KC Metro alone, and 150,000 alumni in the Eastern Kansas and the KC Metro combined, and over 26,000 students, and they get 40,000 for the biggest game to date.

We're 3-1. All we need is 3 wins. Of the remaining schedule, only NU looks like an unwinnable situation.

What are the rules on counting 1-AA wins.  I recall a few years ago you could count them only every other year.  Is that still the case?

You can count them every year now. That is the only reason ku got a bowl game last year.

If its so easy to get into a bowl with a 1-AA win than why didn't Kstate do it?

We've done that for a number of years.

Bottomline.

One loss ... beautiful evening for football, cheap ass tickets, Big East Opponent ... 40,000 in attendance.

Other "basketball schools" and their football attendance in 2005:

UCLA-64,218 per game.

Kentucky-62,450 per game (and they suck!! if they're anywhere close to good they push 70,000 per game)

North Carolina-51,667 per game (and they suck, and if they even have an inkling of a good team, they push 60,000 plus per game).

Doesn't matter what Saul said, football has been around for more than a year.

You can go now.
