I'm a big Coach Ron supporter, but he seems to just be really unlucky sometimes.  It's like he's snake bitten or something.

Kind of depressing...Bubba would have loved Manhattan.

It sucks we have to keep getting so unlucky with our coach's unluckiness.  Wooly was really snake bit with the 5-8 rule and all.  Looks like Coach Ron is starting to get bit by the same snake.

It's really unfortunate that the NCAA has these rules . . . it's pretty clear they're only in place to penalize K-State.

So was Wooly.  If Ron keeps stompin' he'll need a neck brace pretty soon.

When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

he knew we needed 45 exact points vs. UT in '06...

but he didn't know that KB wouldnt' qualify.

What a selective ability to predict things. Strange how that works.

If Brod Smith qualified I'm fairly confident that Bubba will.

Bubba's situation kind of reminds me of what happened to Michael Crabtree @ Tech. Michaels school lost some of his paperwork which forced him to not be able to do much with the team and he wasn't cleared until the season had already started and was redshirted.
And Bubba went to a different school in 10th grade which has screwed up his transcript, because Florida combines the transcripts together. Hopefully he will be here sooner than later though. :users:

Thr troubling thing about this situation is that Prince CLEARLY thought Bubba would make it.  He mentoined his name on media day.

If this kid and/or his coaches sold Prince a bill of goods, and he bought it without doing further due diligence, then this is a very Wooly-esque situation.  It basically makes Prince look like an idiot who doesn't understand recruiting as a D1 NCAA head coach.  The only thing keeping it from being vintage Wooly is that we aren't getting the Sudan offensive player of the year in place of Brown with the expectation that nobody will notice the difference.
Welcome back, Bill.

To be fair, Prince has looked like that for a while now.

Ron's mouth keeps handing out plenty of hat though.  We're still waiting on the cattle.
