Augustin had more polish and was more consistent as a frosh than Pullen has been but I think part of that is the mindset where Augustin got it from the beginning of being more of an orchestrator.
Augustin did shoot lights out as a freshman but he is shooting a lot worse this year as a soph. He is stroking the 3's as a .355 clip...Pullen is .379 from behind the arc in Big 12 play.

I don't think Pullen will ever shoot the ball quite as well as Augustin but I think he's a more capable scorer when challenged because he's stronger and more acrobatic IMO. I realize Augustin makes some tough shots in traffic but usually they're fading away while Pullen is great doing it w/ contact challenging towards the rim.
If Pullen can think more as a true point guard and develop some more consistency he'll be every bit as good. He's a better defender too.
I'm not sure most KSU fans realize just how good of a situation we're in w/ our guard play heading into next season.
I also think Brown can be awfully good if he can work on his ball handling. He has the start/stop suddeness to create his own shot and he has explosiveness. If he can get stronger and work on his handles we'll be incredibly tough in the backcourt next season w/ Pullen, Clemente', and Brown.
