Won't matter.  After OU we'll drop at least 2 to the squawks, 1 to UT, 1 @ Mizzou, and 1 of @ISU @CU or @ NU which will be enough for an NIT bid ... maybe.

The irony is, this first game might be one of the most important of Big XII play.  Pull out a win and we could build some real momentum, lose and we're already behind the 8 ball in terms of a head to head against what will be another bubble team at the end of the season.

Nevertheless, I fully expect a double digit loss.  Hopefully we just don't get embarassed.

Looks like most agree with you since it's steadily dropped to 8 after opening at +9 most places.
