For me, the highlight of the day was Kansas’ beach party, where the impromptu rap battle broke out among half the team. Most of the guys were hard to understand because they were rapping over other rap lyrics, but I got the impression James McClinton and Aqib Talib were the most entertaining. Todd Reesing watched briefly. Jake Sharp sat down and downed a burger.

Randomly, a bikini-clad girl jumped in and held her own until rapping that she was with the boys of “Kansas State,” which would have been a wildly unpopular thing to say if she had not been a bikini-clad girl.
