Isn't ku a lot like Mizzou of last year?

Here's the deal with ku.  ku will very likely go through an entire regular season and only play one team in the top 20.  And they will more than likely LOSE to the only top 20 team that they play.  Is that an accomplishment?  Yes.  An improvement?  Yes.  Are they better than KSU?  Probably.  But I have a hard time being that impressed when their schedule looks like Hawaii's.  It's not their fault that the Big 12 sucks and they missed OU and UT.  But I'll look forward to them hopefully playing a really good team in their bowl game.  Of course, that game will mean nothing to whoever they play.  Can you imagine how excited USC will be if they get matched with ku in the Holiday Bowl?

So Hawaii's playing KSU, CU, ATM, and OSU on the road and Mizzou at a neutral site?  And I'd be excited to play USC.  I think we're a little better than Stanford.

Um, ku's pretty good, I don't get what the big deal is.  Hell, if they lose their three remaining tough games and go what, 9-3, they're still pretty good.  Oh well, if they make a BCS game it'll affect ku vs. KSU recruiting a little, if they just go to a good bowl it will have a limited affect for the time being as far as KSU is concerned.  At least that's my casual opinion.

USC is one of my most despised team EVER, but one thing they can do is prepare for a team. Sure, they lost to Stanford - if any ku fan thinks that with thier depth there is a chance of victory, please pass me the doob... THEN maybe I will understand. As much as I hate Pete Carol and those pricks out there, while some teams reload after each season... USC has the ability to reload after every series - they are freaking DEEP!
