Yeah he failed to qualify for K-State and went to Dodge City JUCO and pretty much died their.

Actually he was at Fort Scott JuCo for a tad too and then ended up in an obscure place in Texas but never played a down that I can recall.  He was asked to play WR while at Dodge.

dont you all remember, there was also some kind of sexual assault charge when he visited IA on a recruiting trip... nothing materialized, but that couldn't be good either. He was very high on KSU, but he went the way of Marvin Simmons - all that talent and nothing between the ears.

He didn't go the way of Marvin Simmons at all.  Simmons made it to campus and on the field some.  Patton didn't make it at all. 

Patton had sex with a girl when he was on his visit to Iowa.  The scuttlebutt was due to the thought it had been an arranged deal and there was a CU type of situation going on in Iowa City.  There was no sexual assault charges.

That's what was reported at first - when I hear about a recruit who is accused of that, I really dont pay that much attention to the rest of the story. If the SH is what's reported, and it was reported by KMan - get pissed at them, not me - I couldn't give a $hit about Patton, he isn't at KSU or in the Big 12, so I dont care.
