I thought this probably would have been posted already, but a quick look and I don't see it.

he was named the Florida 1A Player of the Year as well as first team all-state

This I did not know!  I think Denis will be very valuable next year getting Pullen and Brown up to speed, and then the year after, watch out...

Pullen was considered the fastest recruit in the Big 12.  Miami fans said that Denis might be one of the fastest in the nation.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
Hopefully with Denis and Jacob next year we will be running and gunning, playing an up-tempo style. Should be fun to watch.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

OK, we all know Beasley is gone after this year but...what if Popcorn Walker stays another year for draft status...can you imagine him as a finisher with Clemente and Pullen pushing the pace?   Nice.

Do you think having Clemente for 2008 helps our chances of recruiting top players for that year?  Or players out of the Florida area?  I know we're in on some big names now.  Do you think knowing there will be a quality PG to distribute the ball will help sway them towards KSU?

It certainly can’t hurt.  The more high profile player that decide on K-State the more other players will realize that this is a legitimate destination and will consider coming to Manhattan themselves.  No program gets all the players that consider going there, but if no players even consider going there I can guarantee you that they will get none!  It’s a synergy situation.  Do well. Recruit well. And the success and high profile recruiting will continue in the future...

I think we can get him. I just hope Florida doesn't offer.
