The Big XII problemPlaying the Big XII North pansies twice (and three times) a season does us no favors.Remember how awesome Sherron was with his drives and scores during the Big XII season? Short freshmen don't usually make plays like that against legitimate competition. He disappeared in post-season play. It's not his fault.Sasha, who played a lot during the Big XII season didn't have much to offer in the post-season and was relegated to the bench for the important games. It's not his fault.Mario. He plays good defense, but it was 4 on 5 during our offensive possessions.Tougher OOC scheduling could help, but you really want your system tuning itself up during the 2nd season. Here's hoping that K-State's resurgence is copied by some of our other North brethren because it really makes a difference in the long run.
We need KSU, MU,and all the other teams in the Big 12 to improve. Face it, our team was not used to seeing defense like we have played the last 2 games and it completely rattled us. As much as I enjoy dominating this conference, it would benefit us to get tested a little more throughout the regular season. We need more practice against teams who can match us in size, athleticism, and intensity.
McD's all americans? LOL. collins on the right.

Hats off to them though, cause that's what the difference between winning and losing at this time of year is.
