1. Texas
2. Texas A&M
3. Nebraska
4. Oklahoma
5. Oklahoma State
6. Colorado
7. Missouri
8. Baylor
9. Kansas State
A true freshman led the way for Kansas State at quarterback in 2006, so Ron Prince is not afraid to turn to freshmen for help. They have made moves to try and shore up their pass defense with the addition of S Lamark Brown (Hazelwood, Mo./West) as well as CB Justin Woods (Shawnee, Kan./Mill Valley). Kansas State also landed a good inside linebacker in Kevin Rohleder (Wichita, Kan./Bishop Carroll) to help improve a run defense that ranked near the bottom of the Big 12. The Wildcats also made several offensive additions. With a couple of seniors at running back, several backs, led by Demetrius Bell (Olathe, Kan./East), an all-purpose back with blazing straight-line speed, were added.
10. Texas Tech
11. Kansas
12. Iowa State

They didn't do very good research. Clearly Chandler would be the addition to the secondary. Maybe they should figure out what position Brown is going to play. And Patterson is the main linebacker that we got.
-
Most of the rankings I've seen have Nebraska with a Top 10-15 class, and ahead of Texas A&M for second in the Big 12.

awesome.

And most of the Nebraska fans I know resemble that kid from "The Deliverance." What's your point?

Apparently your trash talking ability is right up there with your team's recruiting ability. :)
Your class is the 9th ranked team in a 12-team conference. Way to go. I wonder how many more pathetic recruiting hauls you need to get back to being competitive.

Haha, you thought that was clever.

espn doesn't follow juco recruiting.

Haha, you thought that was clever.
What would be clever would be finding a way to get some decent prospects to even consider spending four years in Manhattan, Kansas. If you figure out a way, you should probably let Ron Prince know, as he hasn't figured it out yet. Best case scenario for you guys is riding your crop of two star recruits to perennial Texas Bowl appearances.
-
We've already figured it out... We get them some high powered job like senator or president.... or astronaut.

Priceless when someone from NEBRASKA of all places starts bagging on Manhattan.
I mean, seriously. You realize your team is named the "Cornhuskers," right?

You realize of course that you don't live in Manhattan, New York, but in fact in Manhattan, Kansas. :D
The population of Manhattan is 49,462. The population of Lincoln is 225,581. So Lincoln is more than four times as populous as Manhattan, and correspondingly is a more hip and happening place to be.

Yeah, I'm laughin with Dax and Rusty on this one.
Of course, there's not really a lot going on in that state. No pro sports, one BCS school, and it's winter so the poor farmboys can't husk their corn..or whatever it is they do.
Speaking of which. It's basketball season. Shouldn't you be in hibernation?
-

First I think you meant Division I school, and not BCS school. Since you root for a football program unqualified to be either, it's a natural mistake.
I hope you're not seriously trying to sell the excitement factor in Manhattan by what happens in actual cities like Kansas City, which is more than 100 miles away, 102 miles to be exact. For purpose of comparison, Lincoln, Nebraska is only 158 miles away.
There is a lot more to do in Lincoln, and even more in Omaha, than in manhattan, kansas, where the highlight of the town is probably the one trailer with indoor plumbing. Lincoln has more than four times the population of Manhattan. Omaha has more than 12 times the population of Manhattan.
Now even with a K-State education you should understand basic logic well enough to be able to guess that there's more to do in Lincoln and Omaha than in the purple colored trailer park that you reside in.

No. I meant BCS school. Because I know that Creighton is also division 1. Thanks for telling me what I meant though.
Seriously. Lincoln is not a college town. It's a city with a college in it. Since you've never lived in a real college town, you wouldn't understand why it's awesome. Er'go(sp?) the argument that 'OH YEAH WELL LINCOLN HAS MORE PEOPLE SO THEREFORE IT'S BETTER HAHAHAHA'
Good one, slick.
But no, seriously. It IS basketball season. Why are you out trolling on other teams FOOTBALL board? Why not drop by the basketball section? Or are you one of those 'Nebraska football fan, Creighton basketball fan' people. Or 'No, I support NU, but they just suck right now so I'll go talk crap on football boards' kinda guys?
