31-10. Sooners. IMHO we play pretty well but in the end the Fightin' Venzy's are too much for us..... :frown:
-
24-10 khatz. DT gets 3 rushing tds and Cherry makes a field goal. OU fans gone by the middle of the 4th quarter. Serious return of the mob talk ensues. Party in MHK.
-
19-16 KSU.
"Wildcats rattle and hum Sooners in Norman"
U2 gave a concert in norman a few days ago.
-
24-21. Cherry kicks a game winning field goal.
-
52 - 10, Sooners

35-10 OU...at half. The second teamers come in mid third quarter. OU goes on to win big.

I see your 52 and raise you a touchdown
59-10 Sooners

I am feeling the khatz on this one boys, no reason. Just watched the uk game last week and I think we are a titch better than that.
31-21 we get a garbage TD late. :ksu:

24 - 16 OU
We run the ball SURPRISINGLY well against them(surprise by both fan bases), do some nice things on special team, but have some dumbstick turnover or blocked field goal in the red zone, and some magic penalties carry the Sooners on one of their TD drives. We spend the next 2 days talkin' about what if, then start doing box score comparisons to justify why we roll uk.
I really think we'll run the ball adequately against them (approx 180 yards on the game). I think they'll kick away from Banks, which isn't necessarily good for them b/c their punter sux, creating short fields. I am utterly unimpressed with Landry Jones and the OU offense and think they'll struggle to score on long drives. As long as Gregory is forced to make quick throws and not allowed time to think (= sack), and DOESN'T turn the ball over, we'll be competitive.
If we give them a couple short fields, we're toast.
-
52 - 10, Sooners
10 - 52 Cats I like balance.
Landry goes down in the 1st qtr. OU gets 5 turnovers.

Sorry, don't see us being effective on the ground at all. They'll have 8 or 9 guys in the box, which they probably won't even need with their d-line. We will consistently lose yardage when we try to run and be forced into 2nd and 3rd and long situations. Will be surprised if we have 60+ yards rushing through 3 quarters.
Our ability to move the ball will depend entirely on our ability to move the pocket and have Gregory or Coffman throw on the run.
On offense, they will be able to make hay against our defense on the crossing, slant, square-in routes in the middle of the field. Fortunately, they're missing a lot of playmakers, so it won't be as bad as Tech.
OU 41 - K-State 10.

38-13 - Not :ksu:

OU- 24
Cats- 17
I think the D keeps us close. Thomas has an average day running (+or- 90 yards and 1 TD). Maybe a few special teams plays that keep us close. We get an outside shot at winning but cannot overcome the energy drain of the FLU to pull the full upset.
-
Landry did not throw the ball well last week. If he throws like he did we will keep this closer than we should. OU 28 KSU 14. Hope like he!! I am wrong.
-
48-0.
-
Low probability, but if the 'Cats can get outside with blocking (bubble screens, option), and supplement with play-action passes, we can stay close. Just like the whole season, O needs to stay on the field to keep our thin D OFF the field.

I want to believe, but OU's defense is good. Really good.
Sooners 35
Cats 7
Just don't get anyone hurt or more banged up than they already are and don't put forth a Lubbock effort.

I am changing my prediction now that I have read the Daniel Thomas shoulder thread on gpc by the kid who is going to murdered by his fellow board members, and confirmed by KK on his show.
I will now say 52 - 3, OU.

Any questions? If not, thank me for my time.

31-14 OU.
Can't really see us winning this game unless we play really well. After all, it's a road game.
-
i like our chances in this one folks. i like our chances so much that i think that this K-State team will destroy OU.
K-State 24
OU 17
it's just gonna be one of those days for the sooners.
-
If Daniel Thomas does not have the flu yet, he needs to find the 24 hr. variety Saturday. OU is probably a lost cause and a great opportunity to run some offense that is not totally dependent on DT. GG and our WR's get some opportunities and KV runs just enough to keep the Sooners honest. Snyds gets a full game film of what can be corrected going into the more important (winnable) games.
Bobby will beat us by 30-35 rather than 21-28, but he will not do anything to be disrespectful to his mentor.
-
ou 31 ksu 10 I just don't see us moving the ball much on ou's defense myself.
-
21 point loss
-
64 nuttin.

49-14 OU

I was going to say OU 31-10 but I had a dream about the mob last night and it was telling me cats win 20-6. Thats right, we hold the sooners to 6 points in norman and bobby is booed off the field. :steadymobbin':
-
7-6 cats. OU's backup in injured, 3rd string and co have 9 turnovers. NU fans immediately think they are "back" since ou messed up too, ignore that 3rd stringer was in for 3 and a half quarters.
-
Two gladiators gladiating it out.
-
So my dream was pretty much spot on for the Colorado game I said 27-14 it ended up being 20-6 pretty close... I don't know why but I had a dream about OU last night, and in this dream and you all will call bullstuff on this one, but Cherry kicks the game winner at the end of the game. 30-28 KSU... lets hope my dream is right again. EMAW!!!!!

Bill Snyder coached team: KSU 17 OU 31, week after KSU 27 ku 24, after that KSU 34 MU 20
Ron Prince coached team: KSU 31 OU 17, week after KSU 14 ku 38 , after that KSU 12 MU 45 :'(
-
Duh KSU wins 35-7....
I kid, I kid....
It'll probably be around 24-13 for who ever wins.
-
After searching through the EMAW of memorable games with the sooners, the EMAW turns away from the sooners to the big red of the north and drawing on its page of EMAW away game history, it is unfortunate to say the big red of the south will be prevail victoriously but the EMAW shall run high as the clock runs out with cats goal-to-go needing touchdown to win and the entire sooner nation shouting "DEFENSE!!!" aka K-State vs NU 1991
K-State 31
OU 34

I think it's going to be a very scary number. Something like...
