This is on Cyclone Fanatic right now.
09 Big XII North = 08 Big XII South?

Not in terms of how good the teams are but in how the champion could be decided.
I could see KSU, ISU and NU all tied at the end with KSU having the tie-breaker over ISU, ISU having the tie-breaker over NU and NU having the tie-breaker over KSU. Is this a real possibility?
1. The records of the three teams will be compared against each other
2. The records of the three teams will be compared within their division
3. The records of the three teams will be compared against the next highest placed teams in their division in order of finish (4, 5 and 6)
4. The records of the three teams will be compared against all common conference opponents;
5. The highest ranked team in the first Bowl Championship Series Poll following the completion of Big 12 regular season conference play shall be the representative
6. The team with the best overall winning percentage [excluding exempted games] shall be the representative
7. The representative will be chosen by draw.

#1 would knock KSU out (2-2 non conference), and then I think head-to-head would decide for... ISU!

can we disown haverhill? I will burn his adoption papers if no one else is willing to do it
-
I have no interest winning the division at 4-4.
-
We have to win in Lincoln.
I don't want to back in to the CCG on a loss. That's a very Huskerish way to win a banner.

I apologize for not being EMAW, but this is a real possibility if you lose to Nebraska. Don't shoot the messenger.

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but the "records of the three teams will be compared" in #1 is "conference records only...
Nice try, though.

At the top, I said "this is on Cyclone Fanatic." I didn't start this lol.

Understood, Haver.... But, now that I re-read it, I'm a bit confused myself.
It would seem that it could mean overall record, however that would almost seem to render step #6 a moot point.
Hell, who knows?? Let's just hope it doesn't come down to all this and somebody actually wins it on the playing field.

I'm pretty sure it means conference record.
-
I suppose I could let this one go :'(

Haverhill is getting very annoying.
Like, BMW annoying.

Crap has it really been that long since we've been out of it that nobody remembers how this works.
#1 refers to the records of the 3 teams among the games they played against each other.

FYP.

The 3 way tie breaker for the Big 12 is #5 FWIW.
Uhhh...no. The bcs poll is a top 25 only. No one in the north is in it now. If a tie happens, there still won't be anyone in it. May not be anyone in it without a tie.

Iowa State will lose @ ATM and we can put this to bed

No way they go into two difficult places to win at in a row. They'll be coming down off their post cornshucking high. May get trounced if aTm has it in them for 2 weeks in a row.
