hello friend. i have a copy of photoshop that a friend burned onto a cd for me. it's on the cd as an executable file, along with a .txt with the serial number. how do i install this, ?

he burned the whole thing, i installed it before one time. but it's been years and i can't remember how.
the file is 164,380 KB's!!!

ok i've made progress. i pulled the .exe onto my desktop and then right-clicked on it and then choose Winzip, and Open with WinZip. Inside, there are a bunch of files- here's a pic-

open the text file with the code first, copy the code to clipboard so you will have it when prompted during setup. Oh, and yes, execute the setup.exe.

You need to extract the entire ZIP file to a folder. You can't excecute setup.exe when it's still archived (zipped). Click "extract all", choose a folder, and then run setup.

I discovered/started using GIMP not too long ago. It takes a little while to learn, but I like it.
