that isn't 'tard worthy?  Jim Fritzherald has me curious with his outrage.  Surely somebody saw it.

This thread is pretty insensitive...

The reality is that his wife's trips to the hospital and calls to 911 are not from abuse.  Mark Mangino and his wife love each other very much.  As such, they frequently attempt to make love.  The is a high risk activity for the couple, because they are fond the "Missionary Position."  This activity puts an incredible strain on Mrs. Mangino's respiratory system, because she struggles to avoid asphyxiation under the layers upon layers of skin draped about her.  It isn't difficult to imagine that Mark may not hear his wife's muffled cries while making love....add in the fact that they are both huge fans of the smooth sounds of REO Speedwagon while making love, and you have recipe for disaster.

Everyone has know for years that the Manginos had a defibrillator at their bedside, but what most didn't know was that it was for Mrs. Mangino, not Mark.

I only hope that the truth of this story makes it way to the masses, so that the hateful lies can stop.  The Manginos are both victims....victims of love that is.   :'(

That might be the most disturbing and hilarious (simultaneously) that I have read today.

From what I understand - this was all attributed to her saying his erections were weaker than his strength of schedule. Seriously, I feel sorry for her. WHAT COULD HE BE PISSED  ABOUT??? He is having a career year, nothing has gone wrong - man, I dont get it.

I'm not sure if this story is legit or not, but the attempted assault of a high school football official, the post Texas game tirade, and the blood spitting sideline reaming of a player sure make it seem possible...

Maybe Mrs. Mangino undercooked his lasagna?

Nebraska is ranked 18th in total offense, dumbass.

Your team was down 38-0 at halftime to Oklahoma State.  Your team lost 36-14 to Texas A&M.  Both of them at home.  Do those teams suck as well?

So getting back to the topic of this thread.  Cap, is Mangino beating the hell out of his wife or not??   We know he's a real douchebag, the history of his temper and his actions at various little league and scholastic sporting events in Manhattan, Lawrence and Topeka (and points beyond) speak for themselves, we know that LSnyder had to sit him down and tell him to chill when he was at KSU (to know avail) . . . So Cap rather than changing the subject, what are your thoughts on Mangino and his rumored spousal abuse??

You gave up 39 points and 405 yards passing to that number 18 offense with a backup QB! Dumbass. And you put up 76 on the 113th ranked defense. Yawn.

As for TAMU, you guys really crushed that team. And both those teams are not very good defensivley. And PS NU is not good this year.

In Kansas, the victim of domestic violence doesn't press charges, the State of Kansas does through the law enforcement officers on the scene.

True, but it's hard for the state to press charges when their number one witness refuses to testify.

If the police are called to a residence for a domestic disturbance, someone has to spend the night in jail. I'm sure the local news outlets would have been aware of the LPD calling in Ray Liotta and an army helicopter to transport Mangino, ala Operation Dumbo Drop.

Let's just say that before (or soon after) the police get there - Lew Perkins is there as well.

I think that answers all and most questions.
