What's the HVAC decision? Two systems? One with zoning? What thermostat? HVAC dudes want to know these important details.

Just one system IPA4Me. I priced two but the HVAC contractor said I wouldn't see any benefit because we are less than 2,700 sq ft and the floor plan is very open. He said he'd sell me two units but it wouldn't pay off. Also I gave into peer pressure and the elite looks pressure and other pressure and went with the Nest. What now?

I've had my Nest for at least a couple of years (can't remember when I installed it).  Has been absolutely awesome with no issues.

We're now a corporate partner with Nest. We'll see how it goes.

Hope the new house is comfortable.

@pissclams, they finally set the soaker tub. It's, like, 7 feet deep

Looks awesome but seems like there's a lot of wasted space with the way it is placed.

That thing is awkwardly awesome. I love it.
I hope they put a larger water supply line into that thing. If they didn't, tell them to change that crap out right now.

man that is a tub for a prince or a princess or a king. or a queen.

mrs sd is a very lucky lady.  should have put a window in there *lower* so she doesn't feel like she's soaking in a closet but that's nothing a chainsaw can't fix.

if you ever sell that house, that tub is going to seal the deal.  women won't be able to walk away from the grandiose son of a bitch.

also, a TV viewable from the tub is great for getting the kids of a horrible and lazy parent to take baths.  The key is in-ceiling speakers hooked to the tv so you can gE from the bed in peace.

kids break everything that is nice. if i owned that tub i would have an electric fence around it and any kid entering my house would be forced to wear the collars.
