What company?

DCI... They were a big company too, did a lot of work at the fort,they also did the east side expansion.It really came as a big surprise to their approximately  60 employees.

Drove by yesterday and they appeared to be pouring concrete on the south side of the pressbox

I sure have a hard time believing they will be able to get this thing done for next year, but last week I ate lunch with a worker whose company bid on some of the work to be done, and he told me that work would be going on 7 days a week with 2 shifts per day.

if they make it out of prefab steel this thing will come together a lot quicker than you could imagine.  i have a huge construction iq

Yes it can and it happens all the time.  Hense why there are two cranes.  And to be considered "complete" they just have to have the structure up and usable for the fans.  I'm guessing if anything doesn't get finished it will be stuff that isn't for public use, but honestly it should get done.

Yep.  everyone knows the schedule when they bid it.  Two shifts should cut down the total days it takes but keep the labor hours the same.  Granted night work typically doesn't get done as fast because of poor visibility, but you get the point.  If it isn't done on time some people will get heavy liquidated damages.

See the gate detail with the powercats in the middle. Matches the "Castle" that will be the new press box.

CC can correct me but in every computerized picture they show of the expansion the wall looks to be in place. I am getting the impression that it may have been moved to this current phase.
