Didn't realize (saw this on gp)...

The last team that was ranked higher than #7 (as high as #3) was the 62 team that finished #5/6 in the polls, but b/c they finished 2nd in the league did not make the NCAA tournament.

I'm not saying that I think it will happen, but if we were to win out and make it into the top 4...what are the odds we'd still be snubbed for a 1 seed? Also, should be get that 1 seed, would we be the worst 1 seed of all time?

Fun to think about.  If we happened to win out regular season and win some/all games in conf tourney, we'd definitely be in the conversation...but it'd probably take another syracuse or nova loss or two.
