That really isn't bad.  Lot better than just isolating the part above.

yeah.  'grats to pett and manbeck for reeling me in again.

Not sure whether to melt down more over this or Cosh. MODS!?
pretty epic timing for all of these happenings, honestly.  To me, a confluence of suck is preferable to a spacing-out of suck.

Is this for real?

yeah. this is an actual quote. i don't make this cac up for fun guys. it hurts. :barf:

Well, it's all falling apart now.

It was fun while it lasted.

Agreed, the couple of weeks before the Duke game were pretty sweet.

Yeah, the time between stomping Gonzaga and playing Duke was the best of OOC times as a K-State hoops fan. Just beautiful.

The team didn't know they sucked yet. They were somehow getting by on confidence alone. Duke took that away for good.

Jake should be pissed.  Staff stopped recruiting after his Freshmen year.  He has nothing around him.  He deserves better.
i couldnt agree more. 3 stars can only do so much. WRSOAT 2.0 is starting to enter my mind. God its awful

enough with the squawklogic!  he'll come around.  todd reesing had similar comments about the insight bowl and we all know how well that turned out.  same for jaketodd pullreesing.

This really is a stupid thing for Jake to say. He probably meant it to come out like Tebow declaring that Florida wouldn't lose another game. However Tebow had an entire team full of good recruits and a good offensive coach so when he said it, people actually thought it might be true. Jake really should be focusing on the next game rather than focusing on losing all the rest of the games.

I also feel for Jake. He's got every right to be frustrated. He's been key in bringing this program to a level of some national attention. Now he looks around the locker room and sees 1 or 2 decent offensive players (Gruds and maybe JamSam) besides himself on the entire roster.

If the boat that is this program does continue to take on water for the rest of the season, I feel like it's up to Jake to get into Frank's face and tell him you can't yell 3 star recruits into elite basketball players.

isn't that the mehod that worked for jaketodd pullreesing?  if so, you may be guilty of squawklogic.

It would be nice to see Jake skip at least one of the Big Monday games for a study group.  It would really emphasize that these guys are students first and athletes second.

That is what a good leader would do.  Lead by example.

Jake has already lost his shine in most of the public's eye.  He needs to just embrace that and punch the next guy who bodies him too much.  That is the kind of leader we need at this point.

And in no way am I picking on Jake. He's been playing great ball since he's returned. It's just this quote (even in it's entirety) while not as bad is still pretty bad. Hopefully "Sprads" is listening.

Looking on the bright side: At least he didn't rule out playing in the CBI.   :dunno:

Remember Texas last year?  This team isn't even close to them.

Exactly. I love the people who are saying this is just like Texas last year. Uhm, no. At least Texas had quality OOC wins last year. We still need to fight to get into the NCAA tournament.
We aren't Texas from last year, we are rough ridin' Oklahoma.
