Meh. GPC is still entertaining. The quality of BBSing doesn't match goEMAW, but I still enjoy reading. And I just don't read messages that look like they don't have anything interesting in them. Still like the recruiting database, etc. as well and occasionally some of the stories/videos (occasionally).
If you like the occasional story on gpc there is nothing i can do for you

In case you didn't see the recruiting update, not only is Chris Cosh still at K-State and recruiting, I am told he will return as DC, co-DC at the least. The reports stating that Jim Leavitt has been hired as DC are premature at best. It looks like he will be co-DC at most, and may be still considering other openings. There are a lot of jobs shaking out right now, including his buddy Harbaugh filling the Niners staff, which I think remains a possible destination for Leavitt.I know there was talk of Burns leaving, but I haven't heard any of this from people around here. If anyone has a link to solid info on that, please put it in this thread.So far, this is what I believe to be true. With Rahne's departure, Sean Snyder will move out of his administrative role and take over on-field coaching duties. I have been told that Mo Latimore will move to Director of Football Operations, although we will see. If those moves are true, the only opening at this point would be to fill Latimore's spot at DTs. If this isn't Leavitt as co-DC, it will be someone simply as DT coach, meaning Cosh will remain as sole DC.A reminder: Please, when rioting, no looting or burning of others' property.
I stopped by kstatefans to check in on cripps. The comic sans dude "was just happy to be here" and cripps was making excuses as to why no announcement today. After replying to both, I had to leave. Unbearable. That place is much worse than gpc. Seriously Felix, why the hell are you still there?

If Cosh stays on as D-coordinator in any fashion, Snyder should be run out of town. Not firing Cosh is pure selfishness by Snyder.
I'm not going as far as saying he is an egomaniac since I really have no idea whether he thinks he is the one that needs to do it or our administration is the one thinking it needs to be him. My whole point is that there is really no point in worrying about wins as long is Snyder is still here. I don't believe his goal is winning games right now. It's simply about building the structure for a future coach. In my opinion the coaching change needs to be sooner rather than later. Things are cleaned up considerably since Prince was here and as long as we have a 3-5 year interim coach, which Bill is, the concrete in the foundation will never set and worrying about wins is pointless.
