Rams, you want to go out big?  Steal Wichitacat.
Meh...I used to respect him more.  He just spent 2 pages of posts on a thread defending our uniforms and saying that recruits don't really care.  He spent the entire season defending Cosh, for eff's sake.

I think that place has completely broken him.  He's gone full Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  He'd get ceremonially slaughtered over here.

To be fair, he's a better basketball poster than football poster.

how are you still able to access the nat'l rivals boards if you cancel gpc?

still have username, just don't pay anymore.  Didn't realize that i could still view the national forums, just can't read the content that is created by the individual sites.  Still read all the rivals/yahoo headlines.

Meh.  GPC is still entertaining.  The quality of BBSing doesn't match goEMAW, but I still enjoy reading.  And I just don't read messages that look like they don't have anything interesting in them.  Still like the recruiting database, etc. as well and occasionally some of the stories/videos (occasionally).

can still view the database and player highlights without paying.  If you like the occasional story on gpc there is nothing i can do for you

Pffft.  'Cept come here 5 minutes after it's posted and read the one important sentence (assuming there is one) in said occasional story.

was leaning more towards the useless fluff pieces over there.  Thought the "My City" video's almost interesting though.

leavitt would be an idiot to not come. nobody is going to love that batcac crazy acting average football coach more than your average ksu fan will.

Yes.

It's very important for Jim  all coaches to realize that K-State fans zealously/religiously support substandard mediocrity better than any fan base in America.

FYP
I'll lose what little mind I have if you PM'd this to Chris Cosh.

FITZ speaks:

Quote
In case you didn't see the recruiting update, not only is Chris Cosh still at K-State and recruiting, I am told he will return as DC, co-DC at the least. The reports stating that Jim Leavitt has been hired as DC are premature at best. It looks like he will be co-DC at most, and may be still considering other openings. There are a lot of jobs shaking out right now, including his buddy Harbaugh filling the Niners staff, which I think remains a possible destination for Leavitt.

I know there was talk of Burns leaving, but I haven't heard any of this from people around here. If anyone has a link to solid info on that, please put it in this thread.

So far, this is what I believe to be true. With Rahne's departure, Sean Snyder will move out of his administrative role and take over on-field coaching duties. I have been told that Mo Latimore will move to Director of Football Operations, although we will see. If those moves are true, the only opening at this point would be to fill Latimore's spot at DTs. If this isn't Leavitt as co-DC, it will be someone simply as DT coach, meaning Cosh will remain as sole DC.

A reminder: Please, when rioting, no looting or burning of others' property.

In other words, Leavitt to KSU is a done deal and Cosh is certainly gone.

I stopped by kstatefans to check in on cripps. The comic sans dude "was just happy to be here" and cripps was making excuses as to why no announcement today. After replying to both, I had to leave. Unbearable. That place is much worse than gpc. Seriously Felix, why the hell are you still there?

I'm just there for the Aggieville board.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Why is it that "normal" defenses only need on DC and a HORRIBLE defense like ours needs two?

No way JL takes a Co-anything job at this point.  No rough ridin' way.

I swear to christ if Cosh is still on this team next year I won't watch a single rough ridin' snap.  Goddammit.

If Cosh stays on as D-coordinator in any fashion, Snyder should be run out of town.  Not firing Cosh is pure selfishness by Snyder.

I will go out to BSFS and begin a hunger strike if Cosh is still on staff on February 1.

This.

It would show that Bills need to win isn't what it used to be.

Did anyone else see the article on the front page of the Scout site?

Snyder is looking to go back to offering late.  He isn't comfortable with early offers.

This is going just like I thought it would.  This is fantastic.  :users:

Someone actually posted this on kstatefans-

Quote
I'm not going as far as saying he is an egomaniac since I really have no idea whether he thinks he is the one that needs to do it or our administration is the one thinking it needs to be him. My whole point is that there is really no point in worrying about wins as long is Snyder is still here. I don't believe his goal is winning games right now. It's simply about building the structure for a future coach. In my opinion the coaching change needs to be sooner rather than later. Things are cleaned up considerably since Prince was here and as long as we have a 3-5 year interim coach, which Bill is, the concrete in the foundation will never set and worrying about wins is pointless.

My question is, what can I do, we can we do, as EMAWs, to help correct this situation?
