Really Felt Bad for this ku women's basketball player . . .
« on: December 28, 2010, 08:13:41 AM »

Standing outside the American Airlines Terminal Yesterday at MCI.   Finally somebody from Douglas County KANSAS showed up after traveling from fly over country to pick her up.    She has to load up all her cac and then get in the car and drive for an hour back to flyover country Lawrence, KANSAS USA.    She did not look very happy about it.

Had she gone to K-State aka NOT FLYOVER COUNTRY she could have had the choice of 3 daily jet service flights on American from DFW to MHK, somebody would have been there to pick her up and 5 minutes later she's back at her apartment.

Good thing it wasn't bad weather, the ku estro baller would probably still be in the terminal at MCI waiting for someone from Douglas County Kansas to fight their way through the fly over hinterlands to make it to MCI.

Isn't getting a ride from the airport an NCAA violation?

If only we had a regional airport... then we'd get the big-time recruits like they get there at K-State.

You know it bothers you Beems . . . Lawrence, KANSAS USA being flyover country and all.
