You guys realize that this is the first step in consolidation due to the State's finances, right?  The first time Cheyenne Zulu actually punishes a KU athlete(non-important one, most likely) the tards will be singing his praises and announce that KU is starting to do things the right way.

I believe BGL's  plan is to make "Harvard on the Kaw" a reality, ie academics first and foremost, no athletic 'ships.  The new AD is a genius stroke in this plan as he can help phase all current KU fans in to new emaws.  KU will move into the Ivy, as it was one of their "options" during conference realignment

If they thought we were tied at the hip before, just wait.  Zengy will be like, "We're basically going to go wherever K-State goes."

This is TOTALLY a rumor guys, so I can't be quoted and I am just passing it on but a friend of a friend of his has said that Sheown has kicked around the idea of converting the jayhawk to a Power-jhawk type emblem.  Take it for what it's worth.

Maybe someone can shoot me a rendering of what such a thing would look like, so I can check it with my sources.
