Then we didn't even give the guy a real sniff in the process.

Congrats, KU.  You hired a full-blooded Wildcat that we didn't even really want.  Awesome job.  Hope that works out well for you.

In the meantime, we'll finish building our state of the art basketball facility (with no debt) and embark on a $50 million football stadium upgrade (minimum) that will pay for itself in suite sales.

I wonder what the over/under is going to be for ADSZ having a nervous breakdown when they hand him the "real" budget and not the bullcac one they talk about with the public.  I'm guessing he pisses his pants before passing out.

Correct, dumbass.  Those $100 million in upgrades were funded by debt and donations that have been yanked away by the donors getting thrown in jail.

He was the absolute front runner but pulled out due to the stuff brewing with Prince and all the backdoor money buy out. Remember Zeng knew people on the inside and when he got info how bad it was he didn't want the job

I will admit, AD Currie has done a very good job for KSU, but as mentioned Zenger was #1 on the list for the KSU gig.

From the start, many of us have wanted Zenger. Sure we knew he was the original #1 guy for KSU during their search, but much for the same reason he was that for KSU, he fit for KU. He is a great fit for any University in the State of Kansas to be honest.
